The half ponytail

Filed under: Female Hair Loss, Hair Styles — Tags: best hair styles for hair loss, Hair Styles, women's hair loss — admin @ 9:23 am on Tuesday, March 17, 2009

Women who are experiencing hair loss are always looking for new hair styles. Men have classic ones - most notably the comb-over. However, women have fewer options. This is especially true if the woman has long hair while she is suffering from hair loss.

Fear not, we have discovered some great styles that can cover hair loss without looking as ridiculous as a comb-over.

The most popular style to cover hair loss is the half ponytail. Most hair loss begins at the crown of the head, or the top. The sides and front of the head tend to remain unaffected until later.

ForĀ a half ponytail, all you need is a comb, mirror and hair tie.

You take the front and sides of your hair and comb it backwards, like you were going to wear a full ponytail. Then all you do is put the band around it. Leave the lower part of your hair out of the pony tail. There you go - all done.

The great thing about this hair style is that it wil cover the hair loss on the top of the head, without looking weird. Many celebrities have been seen sporting this style - even on the red carpet. It also looks great on all types of people.

There are also many variations on the hair style. In fact, anything you can think up can be a variation on the hair style.

Try it. Then tell us how you like it.
