When it comes to hair loss, there are a lot of different ways that your hair can fall out. For example, if you are overly stressed out for a long time span, then it can cause your hair to fall out. Other times, you may notice that some medications make your hair fall out. No matter what causes your hair loss, there is one thing that a lot of people do not think of, and that is the seasons. Changes in the season affect our bodies a lot, and this includes our hair. Today we are going to talk in a little more detail about seasonal hair loss.
The truth of the matter is that when the seasons change, your hair can fall out. Now this could be due to a few different things. First of all, some people think that it is just due to the changes in temperature. When you go from Summer to Fall and into winter, the air becomes a lot drier, meaning that your skin is going to become drier. On top of that, some of the shampoos that we use can dry out your hair as well. Thus, this can cause thinning of the hair until the problem is corrected. Normally the problem is not corrected until Spring and Summer roll around again. In this case, it would look like seasonal hair loss. However, hair loss in seasons can be beat by using the right kind of shampoo.
You see, there are some shampoos out there that will help to fight off dryness, meaning that your hair would get the moisture that it needs to grow. In this case, you are beating seasonal hair loss without having to wait for the seasons to shift. Of course, this answer only works for the first kind of seasonal hair loss that experts talk about. There is another kind as well that is a little different in theory.
Some people tend to think that seasonal hair loss is caused from evolution. The theory goes a little something like this: It is believed that a long time ago (during cave men times) people use to shed some of their hair during the hotter months and grow extra hair during the winter months. For people that still have this kind of hair loss, they may be looking at some traits that you have that have not fully evolved passed what they use to be. Although this is just a theory, a lot of people are starting to get on board with it, because no one has proved it wrong.
No matter what is the cause of your hair loss, jut keep in mind that it could be linked to the seasons. There is nothing that you can do to change the seasons, and thus, you are forced to just put up with it. In short, if you are seeing hair loss during certain seasons, then you need to do whatever you can to keep your hair looking great. In the end, you will see that seasonal hair loss is something that you can beat.
